Our mission
Dedicated to mobilizing the world’s knowledge community for science-based sustainable development solutions.
With over 2,000 participating institutions worldwide and 58 global SDSN networks, SDSN members work together at the intersection of science, policy, and development practices to advance the SDGs and the Paris Agreement at global, national, regional, and local levels. The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) works under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General.

High quality education
Continuously develop and improve educational programming for sustainable development while supporting action-oriented research initiatives.

Problem Solving
Build an on-going pan-Canadian network of post-secondary institutions and other knowledge institutions to facilitate learning and accelerate problem solving for sustainable development.

Mobilize Partnerships
Organize national/sub-national sustainable development meetings bringing together key actors to identify and help solve Canada’s biggest sustainability challenges.
